Hey All!
I’m thrilled to kick my Valentine’s Day content off with a fun collaboration with The Hershey Company! Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays to do DIY’s for, because I love hearts, pink, and candy with a passion! It’s the one holiday in which I can combine all three in everything I do! Woot! In honor of the New Hersheyās Kisses Conversation Candies (that I’m obsessed with and are only available exclusively at my home away from home Target) and ReeseāsĀ Conversation Cups, I decided to make an adorable easy Valentine’s Day candy basket plus some free printables to share with you today!
To make this fun basket you’ll need:
- A variety of Hershey’s candies including Valentine’s Day themed Kit Kat Miniatures, Hershey’s Caramel Filled Milk Chocolate Hearts, Valentine Exchange Jolly Rancher Lollipops, a Hershey’s Solid Milk Chocolate Heart, and of courseĀ Hersheyās Kisses Conversation Candies and Reeseās Conversation Cups.
- Red Heart Shaped Basket.
- Pink Tissue Paper.
- Scissors.
- Pink Envelopes.
- School Craft Glue.
- Red Marker.
- And the free printables you’ll find further down in this post.
You’ll first start by lining your basket with pink tissue paper, so none of your candy falls out. After that’s done, you’ll start unpacking the amount of candy you’d like to include in your basket.
I started with my Reeseās Conversation Cups andĀ Valentine Exchange Jolly Rancher Lollipops. What I love about these candies is you can write some fun or loving messages directly on them. You’ll of course do this before you put them in your basket.
Each ReeseāsĀ Conversation Cups candy wrapper has an area that says “TO:” & “FROM:” on it which you can customize.
I recommend using a red marker to make sure your writing stays on. You’ll first write all your special messages on to your HersheyāsĀ KissesĀ
You’ll then pick out which cuteĀ HersheyāsĀ KissesĀ
They come in such adorable colors and I’m obsessed with the XOXO one!
I also filled our basket with some Kit Kat Miniatures and Hershey’s Caramel Filled Milk Chocolate Hearts, because you can never have enough chocolate right?!!
To personalize our basket, I made these little printable ombrĆ© rainbow colored Valentine’s Day cards.
You can download them by CLICKING HERE or on the image below! I paired them with cute hot pink envelopes.
I also decided the solid milk chocolate heart needed a little cute face, so you too can add make one by downloading the printable faces by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.
You simply cut out the face with your scissors and stick it on to the chocolate heart foil wrapping with your school craft glue.
Place your smile faced adorable chocolate heart into your heart basket with the rest of the candy.
You then personalize your card and put it into a pink envelope.
The candy will stay inside the basket thanks to the tissue paper lining the basket.
Prop the heart out of the back so it’s the most prominent piece of candy in the basket. You want to show off that adorable face!
You’re loved one, kids, or bestie will absolutely love getting this adorable Valentine’s Day Candy basket as a gift!
Who says candy baskets are just for Easter? Not this lady!
