Hey All!

Have you ever had fruit salsa? Sounds amazing I know! It’s a dessert salsa and a great way to switch things up this Cinco De Mayo! It’s so easy to make and tastes so refreshing. It’s the perfect summer salsa!

You can eat it with some churros or cinnamon cookies or any kind of biscuit cookie.

I love making recipes with strawberries because they are my favorite food!

Here is how to make it:

1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
1 jalapeno, deseeded and diced
½ cup diced red onion
½ cup cilantro, chopped
Juice and zest of one lime
2 tsp. Honey
Pinch of sea salt
Pinch of black pepper, more or less to taste

To a medium mixing bowl, add honey, lime juice, and lime zest. Whisk to combine.

Add salt and pepper, toss again.

Add strawberries, jalapeno, onion, and cilantro, and toss to coat with the honey lime mixture.

You can eat immediately if your strawberries are very ripe, or let the salsa marinade for about 30 minutes first, then enjoy.

Use cinnamon chips (we used Stacy’s cinnamon pita chips) or regular tortilla chips for dipping.
