Disney Churro Sundae For National Ice Cream Day!

Hey All!

It’s National Ice Cream day! Usually I do a whole ice cream month celebration on the blog, but this year has been insane and we honestly did not get around to being able to do all the stuff we normally get to do. A lot was put on hold just dealing with the state of the world right now. I’m sure you all can relate. You can see SOME of my past ice cream coverage HERE. Regardless, today is my favorite national food holiday as ice cream is my favorite tasty treat. I wanted to do something to celebrate, so I created this super easy to make Disney Churro Ice Cream Sundae! It’s so yummy and fun to make. It reminds me of being at the parks.

You can have everything to make this amazing sundae instacarted to your home or your can use what you have at home. No need to go out to make this. If you’re going out to get groceries already, then feel free to pick up these ingredients as well. Here is how to make it!

2-3 Scoops of Tillamook Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream (Can be Instacarted from any Grocery Store.)

1 Tablespoon Mickey Sprinkles (Bought mine on Etsy.)

1 Tio Pepe Churro Cut In 4. (Can be Instacarted from Smart & Final.)

1 Dollop of Reddi Wip Extra Creamy Whipped Topping (Can be Instacarted from any Grocery Store.)

Optional: You can place it in these Mickey Ice Cream Bowls, Ice Cream Scoop, and Ice Cream Themed Kitchen Towel.

First you bake your churros up in the oven. Follow the instructions on the box of Tio Pepe’s Churros. It says to cook them at 400 degrees for 4-5 minutes until churros are sizzling. You then sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar, which comes inside the churro box.

Next you place 2-3 scoops of ice cream into your bowl.

You cut the churro into 4 pieces and place the churro pieces in 4 corners in the bowl around the ice cream.

You then place some whipped cream in the center on top of the ice cream. Sprinkle it with some Mickey sprinkles and you’re done!

That’s all you have to do to make this fun ice cream sundae. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Happy National Ice Cream Day folks! Have a tasty day!
