DIY Galentine's Day Color Block Chocolate Bars

Hey All!

I don’t know about you, But my gal pals and I are celebrating Galentine’s Day all weekend long, especially today on Valentine’s Day! No one wants to spend Valentine’s Day alone when you’re single! I may not be single anymore, but I remember those days and it was not fun. I make an effort to be there for my gal pals since me and the hubby make it Valentine’s Day every day in our house. It’s OK if I spend some time with the gals. For my gal pals I made these fun DIY Color Block Galentine’s Day Chocolate Bars! Yes, they too were made in the colors inspired by Pantone’s Color of the Year Rose Quartz and Serenity. I collaborated with the amazing Designer & Illustrator Jade Boylan to make some fun candy bar wrappers too!  You can find them later in the post below.

To make these fun chocolate bars you’ll need:

How-To-DIY-Recipes

First you make your chocolate bars! You melt your 3 different colored chocolate candy melts inside your pastry bags and tie the ends with your rubber bands.

DIY Galentine's Day Color Block Chocolate Bars Step 1

In your chocolate mold you write out your words that you want to appear on the chocolate bar with the yellow chocolate. You have to write it backwards or I should say mirror the wording. You have to do this with the wording, so when the bar is done, the wording will be facing the correct direction.

Once you have your wording down, you fill the rest of the chocolate mold with your two lavender and light pink chocolates. You do half and half so you get the color block effect. You then pat the mold down on your table so the chocolate covers all the letters.

You then put it in the fridge or freezer for a few hours until it’s completely hardened. Once they are, you move on to wrapping your chocolate bars.

You first wrap the bar in either a red or gold foil wrapper. You seal it with a sticker.

You then cut out your printable chocolate bar wrappers and seal them in the back with some cute stickers like so.

You can hand out the bars as they are or you can put them in a cute heart box, which I made by putting some foam sticker letters on a pink heart box I found at Shop LuLu. Either way they are a perfect gift to give to your single bestie on Galentine’s Day or Valentine’s Day!
