Love them! If you’re having a Disney themed Halloween or Disney themed Halloween party these would be the perfect treat to make.

Here is how to make them!

Doughnut ingredients:

1 C flour
1/3 C sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp unsalted sweet cream butter, melted
1 large egg
1/3 C + 1 1/2 tbsp whole milk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Decorating ingredients:

1 Box of grey fondant
1 Cut out of the electrical part on Frankenstien’s neck
1 bag of black candy melts
1 can of silver edible spray
1 box of toothpicks
cutting board
powdered sugar for dusting on the cutting board

Vanilla doughnut icing ingredients:

4 C powdered sugar
1 tbsp clear corn syrup
1/2 C whole milk
1 tsp clear vanilla extract
Green and Black gel food coloring
2 disposable piping bags
2 squeeze bottles

Doughnut Baking Directions :

Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s and spray a doughnut baking pan with pam baking spray. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a small bowl, whisk together egg, milk, butter, and vanilla extract. Combine the wet ingredients in with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Spoon batter into doughnut pan and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 6 minutes before removing and placing the doughnuts onto a wire rack. Repeat steps until all batter is used.

Icing Directions:

Using a standing mixer, combine the powdered sugar, corn syrup, milk and vanilla extract and mix on medium to high speed until smooth and thick. Scoop about 3/4 C of the icing into 2 bowls and add a few drops of green to one bowl. Add a few drops of black to the second bowl and scoop some of the two icing’s into their own piping bag. Pour the remaining icing’s into their own squeeze bottles and set aside.

Decorating directions:

First you roll out the fondant onto the cutting board to 1/8 inch thick. Cut out the shape of the electrical part. You will need 30 cut outs for each doughnuts. You then spray each piece with the edible dust and allow the pieces to dry for an hour.

Using a sharp knife, cut slits into the top corners of the doughnut for Mickey’s ears. Place a black candy melt into the slits and using the black icing piping bag, pipe the lines of Mickey’s hair. Fill in the lines with the black icing and allow to dry for 30 minutes. Using the green icing bag, pipe a line under the black lines for his skin.

Fill in the rest of the doughnuts with the green icing. Allow to dry for an hour. One the back of the fondant piece, pipe a skinny line of icing and place a toothpick into the icing. Carefully push toothpick into the side of the doughnut.

That’s it! You’re done!

I hope you love these spooky Disney treats as much as I do!
