Forget making the popcorn garlands, Make yourself some Fruit Loop Cereal Candy Canes!
Hey All!
I know some people like to make popcorn garlands for the holidays, but I love to make Fruit Loop Cereal Candy Canes! We always have cereal that stales since it wasn’t eaten in time. So I decided to turn some of our stale cereal into candy canes. This would be a perfect at home holiday activity that you can do with your kids! You should also have everything you need at home already to make these!
They are super simple to make and don’t take a lot of time to make either! Here is how to make them:
First you bend and fold the end of a pipe cleaner to create a stopper so the cereal wonāt fall off. Then, shape/bend the pipe cleaner into a hook/candy cane shape.
From the other end from the pipe cleaner,Ā slide the Fruit Loops onto the pipe cleaner in any color pattern that you would like.
Once you get all the fruit loops on and have your desired length, cut the excess pipe cleaner off. Make sure to leave a little bit so you can create another stopper on the end.
That’s all you have to do to make these! Look how cute and fun they look on our tree. Hang on Christmas tree and Enjoy!
