Give The Gift of Halloween Boo Bag! #Halloween #DontBeTheDarkHouse #CBias

Hey All!

Have you ever heard of giving a Boo Bag on Halloween? I have never heard of this before until I was recently given the opportunity to make one myself for a fellow blogger who is special to me. I know there are plenty of bags that have the word “Boo” on them, but this just isn’t a bag with the word Boo on it. A Boo Bag is a bag you fill with your favorite candy and give it to a friend as a surprise. You can do it for as many friends as you like and they can pass it along to friends as well. I think it’s an amazing idea to connect people or perhaps your neighborhood on Halloween. Neighbors Boo Bagging neighbors is a great way to meet and connect with your neighbors. At least I think it’s a good idea.

I’m was so happy to have the opportunity to make a Boo Bag for a blogger friend of mine who I met as she helped me with my blog design and has basically taught me how to make my blog bigger and better for you all. My blog wouldn’t be where it is today, nor would it look the way it does if this person hadn’t shown me how to do some basic html and blog design. She’s in this group picture that I’m in below, but I won’t point out who she is since it’s supposed to be a surprise, so you can take a guess.

This person is a very special Blogger who is always glad to help me when ever she can and I’m always grateful for the help she has given me. We help each other when we can and I think that’s what friends do. We’ve since met in real life multiple times now and chat often on google chat. She’s always there to listen when I’m frustrated with blogger drama. Bloggers know we have some drama some times. lol. She is honestly someone I now consider a friend so I wanted to make this Boo Bag special for her and her adorable three kids as a little thank you for all of the support she has given me and my blog.

I knew I would find everything I needed to make my Boo Bag at Walmart. My non hubby and I headed to Walmart at the crack of dawn to go shopping today. It was too early so my teen so he didn’t want to come. I like to shop early and I knew I wanted to include lots of chocolate since that’s what I love to eat on Halloween! I made a list to get some of my favorite candies like Snickers, Twix, and the ever so rare M&M’s Candy Corn flavored M&M’s that you can only find at certain Walmart’s across the country. I love Snickers so much that I was actually forbidden from eating them as a kid, since I ate them so often and my mom didn’t want me to lose all my teeth from eating so many Snickers! I kid you not. I of course started eating them as soon as I got older and new how to eat in moderation. I digress. I was praying my favorite Walmart would have all the candies I needed since I wanted to make this Boo Bag special and yummy!  I am happy to say I my trusty Walmart didn’t let me down! I got everything I needed to make and fill my Boo Bag with! I was super excited when I left the store as you can see.

If you Click on the image of me above you will get to see the slide show of my shopping trip to buy the stuff I needed for my Boo Bag and also how I made my Boo bag. When your on ThisMoment Just click on the first image to get the slide show started.

I got the most amazing bag that says Boo on it along with some foam stickers, boo themed tissue paper, stamps, and some Halloween dividers to decorate the bag with. I also got a matching card and an activity book for her and her kids to do. I put it all together and filled it with all the yummy candy. You can see it below!

If you watch my slide show you will see how I wanted to make this Boo Bag special for my blogger friend. I think it came out really cute and I hope she likes it. I hope her kids like it too. I’m sure they will be feasting on all these yummy candies for the rest of the month! I also had great time shopping and getting crafty for this project.  It was amazing to get to do something to show someone what they mean to you and to say thanks for being a good friend. Good friends are hard to find and it’s nice to get the chance to say thanks for being a friend even if it’s small token of appreciation like making a Boo Bag.

I’m thinking of making one for my new neighbor that just moved in next door as a way to introduce myself and hopefully make a new friend. I highly recommend you get out and make a Boo Bag for someone this Halloween. It’s a great way to say thanks and it’s also a great way to say Hello!

Who would you make BOO Bag for this Halloween?
