It’s a Nightmare weekend and week coming up! Again all this week I’ll be sharing a bunch of Halloween DIY’s, Recipes, and Printables to close out the Halloween season. We’re going to do a few days of Nightmare Before Christmas posts for the next few days. Hope you like these last minute ideas! Here are some Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Pumpkin Patch Cupcakes!

These take a bit a time to make but they are not difficult to make. You can buy some store bought or bakery bought plain cupcakes and skip the whole step on making cupcakes. That’s what I would do honestly! No Bake is always the way!

Here is how to make these!

Jack Skellington Face
One 8oz white fondant
1 black edible marker with fine tip

Vanilla Frosting
1 Cup unsalted sweet cream butter, softened 3 C powdered sugar
3-5 tbsp of heavy whipping cream
2 tsp of pure vanilla extract
1 large piping bag with star tip 1 – 8oz bag of pumpkin candy

Chocolate Cupcakes
1 box chocolate cake mix
One 1⁄4 Cup of milk
3 large eggs
1⁄2 Cup unsalted sweet cream butter, softened Halloween liners

Moss Cookie Ingredients and Directions
1 tube of refrigerated sugar cookie dough
Moss green gel food coloring
1 container of white frosting

Directions for the Jack Skellington Face:

Pinch off 2 tbsp of the white fondant and roll into a ball Place onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper Allow to dry overnight
Using the black marker, draw on Jack’s face
Allow to dry while you make the cupcakes

Directions For Moss Cookie:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Place the refrigerated dough into a large bowl and mix in about 1 tsp of the moss green gel food coloring into the dough.

Scoop about 1 tbsp of the dough onto the cookie sheet and use a butter knife and press the dough into irregular shapes.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies have a lightly brown edge Allow to cool completely.

Pick out 12 smaller size cookies and set aside. These will be placed on the cupcakes Crumble the remaining cookies into a bowl.
Using the frosting container, mix in about 1 tsp of the moss green gel food coloring into the frosting.
Carefully spread a thin layer of the frosting onto the cookie you set aside Sprinkle the crumbled cookie on top and set aside.

Directions for Cupcakes:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and beat until combined.
Fill liners 3⁄4 full and bake in the oven for 22 minutes, remove and allow to cool completely.

Directions for Vanilla frosting:
Using a standing mixer, beat the butter, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, vanilla until combined and fluffy.
Beat in a few drops of of the moss green gel food coloring and beat until combined Scoop the frosting into the piping bag.

Pipe a ring of frosting around the top of the cupcake Carefully dip the cupcake into the crumble cookie.

Pipe a small dollop of frosting into the center of the cupcake and carefully place the moss cookie onto the frosting dollop.

Pipe small dollops of frosting onto the top of the cookie and place the jack fondant and pumpkin candy on the frosting Enjoy!

Turn on The Nightmare Before Christmas on Disney Plus and enjoy for Halloween!
