Our Gold & Pastel Rainbow Friendsgiving!

Hey All!

I’m so happy to share with you our DIY for a fabulous gold and pastel rainbow friendsgiving today! You can easily make or find everything you see here to decorate your friendsgiving feast tablescape. Everything that is DIY is super easy to make and all have fun gold and pastel colors. I’m all about pastel rainbow colors this Thanksgiving and I’m sure all my Turkey BAE’s are going to love it!

Yes, I have BAE’s who love Thanksgiving as much as I do and being that I’m from NYC and most of my family and friends are on the east coast, friendsgiving is a great addition to our Thanksgiving feast. It allows all of my fellow transplant friends the opportunity to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together.

Here is what you’ll need and how to make this thanksgiving decor.

First you spray paint your fake leaves, pumpkins and gourds with your pastel colored spray paints. Make sure you do all spray painting outside.

Let them dry completely.

Next you spray paint your cornucopia, turkey place card holders and haystacks gold. Make sure to do a few coats, so it looks really gold in color.

Let the gold spray paint dry over night. Next you cut out the letters for the words “Happy Turkey BAE!” with your Cricut cutting machine and purple stick-on vinyl. You can also buy large stick on letters as well.

Stick the letters on your wall behind your dinner table in between two inflatable turkey legs.

It will look like this below.

Place your pastel painted leaves down the center of your table.

Place your gold haystacks on top of the leaves. Add some of your spray painted pumpkins and gourds around the haystacks and on top of the haystacks.

Place your gold cornucopia basket on the middle haystack and fill it with pumpkins and gourds. Add some gold leaf accents to each haystack.

Place your pies or serving platters on the other haystacks. We’re making sure to have our favorite Rose’ on hand to drink for our Friendsgiving.

I’m serving some pumpkin spice marshmallows with hot cocoa, rose’ and sparkling water for our drinks.

I love how the haystacks and cornucopia look down the center of the table!

Place gold flaming drink stirrers into your glasses and place the gold leaves and gold turkey place card holders around the table. The place card holders can hold cards that say what kind of pie or dish your serving to your guests.

Place a cheers bottle opener on the table for your guests to easily find.

For the table setting we did a layering of an ombre pastel paper plate, striped pastel rainbow plate, and white mini plate.

It was placed on top of the ombre paper placemat with some “Hello Fall” pink napkins and lilac napkins.

They also have the iridescent flatware on each side and the pink glassware.

The place cards are little DIY Pie Slice Placecards with hidden Godiva chocolates underneath, which I’ll be sharing in a post next week. So stay tuned for that!

And that’s how we put together our gold and pastel rainbow Friendsgiving!

I hope you all enjoy throwing your own Friendsgiving fiestas this year!

I know my DIY gold and pastel Friendsgiving decor is going to be a big hit this year with my guests!

Hope you love it as much as I do!
