Looking for a fun holiday DIY activity to do with your Toddler? Check out this Snowmen Peeps Playdough!
Hey All!
I’m sharing some last minute holiday DIY’s and recipes up until Christmas eve which I had done but just didn’t have a chance to share prior to my surgery. We love snowmen in my household, so I wanted to share this fun and easy to make Snowmen Peeps Playdough! It’s fun for kids to play with and it’s great because it’s a safe playdough you can make at home. I would still watch your toddler as they play with this since the flour is not baked. They shouldn’t be eating this. It’s just a fun playdough you can make at home to play with.
Here is how to make it:
- 6 Snowmen Peeps
- 6-8 Tablespoons of Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Crisco
In a microwave safe bowl, add 6 snowmen peeps, 6 tablespoons flour, and the 1 tablespoon of Crisco.
Place in microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir together.
Once you cannot stir anymore, take out and start to knead in your hands. If it’s to sticky, then add more flour and keep kneading until it’s no longer sticky. Don’t add to much.
Ready to play, have Fun!!
You can store this in an air-tight baggie for up to a week. You’ll have to pop it back in the microwave for about 10 seconds to soften before each use. Make sure it’s cooled before giving it to little kids.
Hope you and your kids like this fun Snowman themed DIY as much as I do!
Happy Holidays folks!
