Food 4 Less Halloween Breakfast Board

Hey All!

Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos is around the corner and I’m so thankful to be able to celebrate with family and friends this year. It feels like an eternity since I’ve been able to celebrate a holiday with anyone at our home. I’m thrilled to bring back traditions this year by hosting friends and family for some spooky season fun. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love to make spooky themed meals for those visiting. As a Latina, I love to entertain and spend time cooking it up with my family in the kitchen. Cooking always brings up fun memories of our loved ones who’ve passed and of past holidays. We make all kinds of unique themed dishes and treats each year. This year, I decided to make a pancake and donut themed Spooky Breakfast Char-Booterie Board to serve my guests. It’s such a fun and easy way to serve breakfast and it makes the perfect spooky breakfast. I headed to FOOD4LESS® to pick up what I need for our Halloween festivities.

Scoop the batter into some donut cake pans and bake according to the instructions for cupcakes on the cake mix box.

Once the donuts are done, you let them cool completely. Once they are cool, you stick the plastic monster teeth in the center of the donut.

You can then use a griddle and make some skeletons and pumpkins by hand with the batter…

Or you can use mini skeleton and pumpkin waffle makers like I did. The way I did it is obviously easier and I love the way they come out with these waffle makers.

You can use some kitchen sheers/scissors to clean up the edges of your skulls and pumpkins.

Place the skull and pumpkin pancakes on your platter.

I used a coffin shaped platter to serve mine on to give it an extra spooky feel, but you can use any platter.

Add some candy corn to garnish the board and fill in any empty gaps.

Dunk some OREO Cookies into chocolate and add sprinkles and what ever spooky touches you’d like to them. Add them to your board as well. Yes you can have cookies in the morning!
