Summer is here, so you know I’m ready to be the hostess-with-the-mostess once again! I love entertaining our family and friends during the Summer. It’s a time of year filled with so many memories made through summertime entertaining and grilling. As a Latina, there is nothing I love more than to entertaining and cooking up some of my family’s favorite treats. For our upcoming festivities, I wanted to make one of our favorite refreshing treats and that’s our Strawberry-Watermelon Trifle Cups! I love making trifle cups each year, as they are so easy to make! It has strawberry crunch cake, watermelon, strawberries, and whipped cream! All of our favorite summer staples! We have so many happy memories hosting cook outs and get togethers making some fun treats together. Thankfully, when I head out to shop at FOOD4LESS® to pick up what I need for our summer festivities, they are always well stocked and have a large selection of my family’s favorites!
As soon as I knew we were having company over for the fourth of July. It’s our first gathering of the summer, so I ran out to FOOD4LESS®. They had everything I needed to create a Strawberry-Watermelon Trifle Cup Bar to entertain some family and friends coming to visit.

We will be serving our guests all the fixings to make our Strawberry-Watermelon Trifle Cups on our bar cart. It’s always fun to push out a cart of treats for people to enjoy!

I love making self serve Strawberry-Watermelon Trifle Cups Bar, because it lets everyone customize their trifle to how they like it.
Here is what you’ll need and how to make these delicious treats for your own summertime entertaining and or grilling cook out festivities.
1 FOOD4LESS® Bakery Fresh Goodness Strawberry Crunch Cake
1 Watermelon
1 Container of Strawberries
1 Container or Kroger Whipped Topping Original
6-12 Trifle Cups or Ice Cream Cups (Depends on how many guests you have!)
To make the Strawberry-Watermelon Trifle Cups you’ll first scoop one small piece of the FOOD4LESS® Bakery Fresh Goodness Strawberry Crunch Cake into your trifle cup.
Next you’ll top your piece of cake with Kroger Whipped Topping Original.
Then you’ll top that whipped topping with an assortment of watermelon and strawberries. We made our watermelon into star and circle shapes. It’s what my son requested!
Finally you’ll top the watermelon and strawberries with another dollop of whipped topping and a garnish of watermelon and strawberries.
That’s all you have to do to make them and it’s an amazing flavor combination!
The yummy cake at the bottom and the fruit are just perfect with every bite.
It’s the perfect treat to keep you cool and enjoy during your Summer festivities.
I set everything to make these delicious Strawberry-Watermelon Trifle Cups on my bar cart.
The ingredients are at the top and on the bottom are the cups, napkins and utensils. I also have an extra watermelon on the cart in case we want to make more!
This makes it super easy for my guests to make their own trifle cups.
I also love that I can enjoy this treat with my guests both indoors and outdoors. With the bar cart, I can roll this out onto our patio, so we can enjoy them outside.
You can serve the strawberry crunch cake in it’s original container or serve it uncovered. Either way works. Just put it on top of a cake stand for presentation.
You can also leave the whipped topping right in it’s container.
Make sure to have your watermelon and strawberries cut into pieces, so you don’t spend time cutting and leave your guests waiting.
I’m sure we’re going to make so many amazing summer memories this year!
