Have you heard? One of my favorite movies Pitch Perfect 3 is now available for digital download on iTunes! The download comes with new musical performances; a gag reel and extended scenes not seen in theaters. You Bella-believe I’m downloading the movie and rallying my best BFF’s for an aca-awesome movie night in this weekend. I’m calling it a “Pitches Night In” party!
The amazing folks at Universal Pictures Home Entertainment were kind enough to send me some super cute products to gift my besties for my party. But before I show you all the DIY details of this aca-awesome movie night in party, have you seen this movie yet?
Aca-scuse me? You haven’t seen #PitchPerfect3 yet? Well let me give you the gist about what this fantastic musical movie is about.
“Now graduated from college and out in the real world where it takes more than a cappella to get by, the Bellas return in Pitch Perfect 3, the next chapter in the beloved series that has taken in more than $400 million at the global box office.
After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t job prospects for making music with your mouth. But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.”
That’s just a brief synopsis of the film. Check out the trailer below to see a little of this fun film in action!
I can’t wait to see it again and if you haven’t seen it, you and your best pitches are going to love it. You’ll love it especially if you loved the first two movies!
Now on to the party…
First, I made this “Best Pitches Playlist”, which features some of my favorite songs from the 3 films. I had to have a playlist we could get down to before the movie. You can download this printable playlist HERE for your own Pitches Night In.
Next, I made these cheer flag Rice Krispies treats to much on, which have fun phrases from the films on them. I made them simply with a sheet of Rice Krispies treats, some fondant and icing. I cut out triangle shapes and added the fondant and icing wording.
The Rice Krispies match the cheer banner decorations that I have hanging on the wall with some star balloons and some Pitch Perfect 3 balloons. I made the flags with some craft foam and stick-on sticker letters.
I just cut the shape of the flags with a scissors and stuck on the letters.
I also made a giant microphone balloon out of a disco ball balloon, a large poster board, some gray wrapping paper and some tape. I LOVE IT soooooo much!
I also made some glitter microphone themed straws for our drinks and placed a confetti glitter shaker and disco ball sippers to our table to mix up some drinks for my besties. Who doesn’t want to sip drinks out of disco balls folks? I know I do!
Lastly, I sprinkled some confetti all over the table for some added fun.
Those are all the DIY’s I made for our party, but that’s not all we had.
We also had Pitch Perfect 3 themed cups with fun sayings on them…
Tasty butter and caramel popcorn…
Which I also put in these little popcorn containers!
We had Pitch Perfect 3 themed tees that say “Crushed it” and “Love you awesome nerds” for our besties to wear as we watch the movie…
And Pitch Perfect 3 nail polishes! We always like to send our BFF’s home with some little party favors when they come to one of your parties.
That’s everything we have for our party! This is going to be one fun Pitches Night In!

A Pitch Perfect party sounds perfect to me! I love the entire franchise, and I think the third one was just as good as the first, which isn’t easy to do. I’d love to do this for myself and my girlfriends!

This is so adorable and fun! I have only seen the first Pitch Perfect, but I seriously need to see the others sometime whenever I get a chance.
I think that I must live under a rock. I havent seen this movie yet. The party decor is awesome and I love the microphones on the straws.
This looks super fun! I am a little torn with the 3rd movie, only because there’s no Jesse or Bumper 🙁 But I’m sure it is going to be great anyway.
