Looking for a fun at Halloween at home activity to do with the whole family? Make a DIY Hocus Pocus Puzzle and have a blast putting it together!

I don’t know about you, but during this whole crazy pandemic, we’ve been doing a ton of puzzles. Puzzles are all the rage right now and the prices for a puzzle jumped drastically! No one cared about puzzles until we were all stuck at home. I digress… I couldn’t find any Halloween or Hocus Pocus related puzzles, so I decided to make my own!
How fun is this puzzle folks? I’m obsessed with all things Hocus Pocus and I can’t wait to watch the reunion! Did you see there is a reunion happening? I would make this puzzle and snag a ticket to have double bubble Hocus Pocus fun!
Here is how to make the puzzle!
- Invent It! Puzzle Kit
- Printable Heat Fabric Transfers for DIY Projects For Light Fabrics
- Iron
- Scissors
- Printer
- This Free Hocus Pocus Puzzle Printable
First you print out this Free Hocus Pocus Puzzle Printable onto the Printable Heat Fabric Transfers for DIY Projects For Light Fabrics. I use this iron on instead of the one that comes with the kit. It works better! The image is flipped so it will be facing the correct way when you iron it.
Cut off any excess.
Next you heat your iron to the highest setting. Turn off the steam. You don’t want to use steam on this.
Place puzzle on a flat surface and the image onto the puzzle board. Iron for about 3-4 minutes. Don’t use an ironing board. It has to be a flat surface.
Remove from the heated flat surface area and be careful not to that surface as it will be very hot and you can burn yourself.
Let the whole thing cool for 3 minutes and then carefully and slowly peel the sheet off the puzzle. You have to do this slowly so the puzzle surface won’t peel off with it.
Pull the pieces apart and you’re done! You made yourself a DIY Hocus Pocus themed Puzzle! We have loved doing puzzles through this whole quarantine! Puzzles are so hot right now!
Why not make some puzzles that have what ever you want on them? That’s what I’m doing! Why pay a ton of money when you can make it yourself!
